Any size, any shape, many  colours

Deciding to install a swimming pool of your own is a major lifestyle decision, and it is essential the pool you select is the most appropriate one  for your needs

One of the first considerations is to choose the spot where the pool will be positioned. A warm sunny location sheltered from prevailing winds will ensure that the pool gets maximum use, privacy is another important factor in  positioning your pool. Other practical points also need to be considered, such as the location of existing underground services, the location of council  easements (if any), building line setbacks and the actual amount of space available for the pool.

For some clients a small plunge pool meets their needs ideally, an athlete may require a lap pool or a family pool with an attached training lane. The needs of other clients are often more substantial, such as the remotely located mining companies who provide recreational swimming facilities for over  200 employees. The flexibility of the Polystyrene Shell pool system allows any pool shape to be designed and built in almost any location, even pools with enclosed  islands can be built using this system.

Spas can be either open to or separate from the main pool, and separate spas can be positioned  above the main pool level. A Polystyrene Shell pool can be designed that enhances your  lifestyle and adds to the value of your property.

Whether your vision is of a compact and secluded bushland waterhole, a 16 metre lap pool, an opulent and elegant Romanesque extravaganza; or a recreational facility for 200 mine site workers, your Thermaform consultant can work with you to turn that vision into a reality.

Polystyrene Shell pools use  superior finishes individually manufactured from Nylex Aqualux, your Thermaform  consultant can supply you with a copy of the Aqualux brochure and with some samples that show the substantial strength of the materials and range of available colours.

Aqualux finishes have an anticipated life in excess of fifteen years,  which is longer than the practical life of most finishes applied to concrete pools. A Nylex Aqualux finish chosen from the range of non-fade, plain and  textured colours will be custom manufactured to suit your pool.
